How to uninstall the AICPA Components

The AICPA Components can be manually removed from your machine with the following procedure (Internet Explorer 7 users please click here):

1. Click on Internet Explorer's TOOLs menu:

2. Choose "Settings":

3. Choose 'View Objects":

4. Carefully select only the items that start with 'AICPA...'. Next, right click and choose 'Remove' (you can also simply press DELETE):

5. Click "YES" to remove them:

After removing the components, use the links at the right to return to the Sample Test Installation Instructions or the Sample Test FAQ Sheet.

To manually remove the AICPA components in Internet Explorer 7:

1. Close all instances of Internet Explorer.

2. In the Start Menu, right click on Internet (Internet Explorer) and choose Internet Properties.

3. From the Internet Properties dialogue choose the Programs Tab, and click on Manage Add-ons.

4. Once inside the Manage Add-Ons dialogue, select Downloaded ActiveX Controls from the drop down menu.

5. Highlight all AICPAxxxx named controls and choose delete. You can only do this one at a time.

6. Say OK and Close to any open boxes.

7. After removing the components, use the links at the right to return to the Sample Test Installation Instructions or the Sample Test FAQ Sheet.
